Finally got this to load after how long, its a project from makability month. Within the illustration are pictures which i took on the day also quotes/conversations of people within the area.

Illustrative Handmade Cards

I haven't drawn in a while, so i decided to make some a5 cards to sell at our 2nd year exhibition show.

One day a thought pop into my head having my illustrations as jewelry pieces. So for my self written project i decided to turn it into a reality. For this project i produced a set of earring, wrapping paper and packaging. I went for a handmade and tactile feel with the packaging with part of my illustration stitched.

Was in my room one night waiting for something to load... looked up to stretch my neck and thought that looks nice.... it looks like some abstract art. I think am going to look up more often.

J.n.k Design Manifesto

1. Just go with the flow.

When working I believe that let things take its course because eventually there is an end.

2. Don't lose your motherhand.

Am basically trying to say that don't forget about the art of making with your hands or drawing.

3. It's ok to be grey.

It goes out to all the maybe and middle people out there. lol

4. What is the box.

This statement makes my stomach turn lol... its always think outside the box but what's wrong with the inside of the box. why can't we think in the box as well as outside? Think about that the next time you you say that statement people......

5. Sometimes its just about the beauty.

I can't deny but sometimes design is about prettification.

6. Stress don't get you anywhere

Dance piece: crime of century

This was a open brief title crime of the century. In which 5 objects needed to be included in the

final outcome my 5 objects were a 9 hearts, spectacles, sweet wrapper, string and box of matches.

After a long thought process i decided with the idea of consumerism and how we care so much about material goods that they start to rule our lives and that we end up living for them, forgetting that blood, sweat and tears went into making them.

So i thought how can i bring this idea across in an interesting way so i decided to do a dance piece.

The crit was successful in that with no explanation they were able to understand the message. It just shows the power of movement to portray a story its words in motion.

The End

Was supposed to be working on my manifesto brief but went into a deep doodling session which i anit done in a lng time, it was gd... i call this piece the end only because i repeated it alot within the drawing.

Meerkat Mail

Was in waterstones a couple of weeks ago and i came across this book and it really make me laugh its about a meerkat who wanted a break form his family he goes traveling to visit various relatives but ultimately there no place like home. Even though the grass may seem greener on the other side.Really like the illustrations and the flip up postcards which run through out the book.

Doing my usual web surfing and i came across this portraiture artist Kehinde Wiley, really

like his work at first i thought they were photography's boy was i wrong they were

oil paintings .He mixes two worlds and puts it into a new context.
